Known bugs
Things seems not to be correctly synced when playing in the browser and some lost inputs have been reported. 😥 Unfortunately I'm limited by the way web browsers deal with audio at the moment. I tried tweaking some numbers and settings as well as reworking the input system a bit in v2. Hopefully it fixes the problem.
If you can run it, the Windows executable should provide a better experience.
Devlog
v2.0 – Aug. 9st 2025:
Update for Trijam #333, part 2: « Reality Changes the Further You Go ». Dev time was 3 hours and 15 minutes. Still not under the time limit but much better than part 1! 😁
Besides some minor adjustments (cf. Known bugs section above), this version adds a whole new set of levels with a new input type and new platforms. Initially I planned on adding a third level set with its new mechanic, platforms and texts to match this week's theme. Unfortunately I got short on time and now this new version doesn't fit the theme that well...
I also didn't find the time to add a history of previous inputs. This feature has been asked multiple times and it would indeed be a major improvement. I'll probably add it in a future update once the jam is over.
That being said, I hope you'll enjoy this new version!
v1.0 – Aug. 3rd 2025:
This is my submission for Trijam #333, part 1: « One way trip ». Dev time was around 5 hours. 🫤
Reason #1: I didn't take the time to properly think the project through before jumping into dev. That led to a lot of scope changes, code refactoring, and other time-wasting detours.
Reason #2: I really wanted to have custom music this time. I didn't want to rely on premade assets but unfortunately, making my own music isn’t exactly something I’m good at or fast with. 😅
Still I'm pretty happy with the result. Since I was over the time limit anyway, I took the chance to add some polish here and there but I managed to hold back from adding more trap types and levels.
