Hi!
I'm just an amateur making games for fun every now and then. Most of my creations are small one-shot projects done over the weekend, generally for the Trijam. My favorite engine is Godot but I also did a few games with Python + Pyxel.
My favorite project so far is my second attempt at Trijam. In this dynamic puzzle game you have to keep the dog running in the maze for as long as possible. To do so, you can only move the walls of the maze carefully in order to block the dog path and have him backtrack to find another way out. However be ware: first, every block can be moved only once, and second, you cannot fully block the dog in the maze. The exit must be reachable all game long but the path out can be as intricate as desired.
This game idea turned out to be more fun than I thought and, after a few rounds to get the game logic, you might get quite addicted to watching this poor dog going back and forth as you change the maze layout.
Initially made with Python, I really consider making a rework of this game with Godot for a better version with menus, tutorial, upgraded graphics and music, etc. Maybe some day?
My highest rank on a Trijam edition was after Trijam #261 : One wrong move. Fail or retry ranked 2nd overall, with 1st place for the criterias "Gameplay" and "How much do you enjoy the game overall?". It seems people had as fun playing the game as I had making it. ๐
